Job Responsibilities
- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, priorities, and goals, taking into account their age, ethnic origin, economic status, lifestyle, creed, or philosophical beliefs.
- Care Implementation: Collaborate with licensed practitioners to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring timely and safe execution of nursing interventions and prescribed medical regimens.
- Patient Education and Discharge Planning: Provide patients and families with relevant health education approved by licensed practitioners, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and are equipped for successful discharge.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Licensure and Certification: Must hold an unencumbered LPN license from the Minnesota Board of Nursing prior to start date, as well as Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of start date.
- Communication and Teamwork: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
