Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will perform and document assessments appropriate to licensure, ensuring health history and admission processes are completed, and interventions or referrals are made as needed.
Essential Functions
- Identify early warning signs of a change in a patient's condition and report accordingly.
- Implement nursing interventions and prescribed medical regimens in a timely and safe manner, documenting nursing care provided accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate and communicate relevant patient information with patients/families and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality and continuity of care.
