Role Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in our healthcare team, working collaboratively with registered nurses and other licensed practitioners to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and document patient responses to nursing interventions.
- Modify the plan of care as needed in collaboration with licensed practitioners.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure from the Minnesota Board of Nursing prior to start date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of start date.
