Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Altru Health. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team, and achieving exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical, psychological, social, educational, developmental, and rehabilitative needs, developing individualized plans of care that address their unique requirements.
• Deliver direct nursing care, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care within the healthcare team, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration to achieve optimal results.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare journey.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently, maintaining clear and concise records that meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• A valid Registered Nurse license in the state of North Dakota or a compact state agreement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire date.
• Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO) certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Working Conditions:

• Indoor work environment, with occasional outdoor duties as needed.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull medium-weight objects (20-40 pounds).
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures not expected.
