Patient Advocate

Job Requirements:

To be successful as a Registered Nurse at Altru Health, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. You will also need to have a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of North Dakota or a compact state agreement, as well as Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical, psychological, social, educational, developmental, and rehabilitative needs, developing individualized plans of care that address their unique requirements.
• Deliver direct nursing care, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care within the healthcare team, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration to achieve optimal results.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare journey.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently, maintaining clear and concise records that meet regulatory requirements.
