\Job Summary
\In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and technologies.
\Key Responsibilities
\- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop tailored care plans to meet these needs. \
- Deliver high-quality nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, and other interventions as necessary. \
- Foster collaboration with interprofessional teams to ensure seamless patient care, effective communication, and successful discharge planning. \
- Maintain current knowledge of medical research, technologies, and best practices to enhance patient outcomes and elevate the quality of care. \
- Empower patients and their families through education on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
Requirements
\- A valid RN license in North Dakota or a compact state agreement \
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire \
- Temporary RN license accepted prior to start date; must hold an unencumbered nursing license prior to start \
- Certification in relevant areas of practice may be required depending on the department
Working Conditions
\This position involves frequent standing, walking, and reaching, with occasional sitting and stooping/bending. The incumbent must be able to lift and carry medium-weight objects (20-40 pounds). The working environment is primarily indoor with minimal exposure to extreme temperatures.
