Job Details

The Registered Nurse Emergency Department provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the organization.
The nurse maintains the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
The nurse facilitates the coordination of patient care within the interdisciplinary care team and provides patient education to assure safe patient discharge.
Job Requirements
Registered Nurse | North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources
Temporary RN license accepted prior to start.
Must hold an unencumbered nursing license prior to start.
Schedule Information
48 hrs per week 1.2 FTE
Every other weekend
Days, Mid shifts, night shifts
12 hr shifts
Unit Specific Information
The nurse assesses, intervenes, and reassesses the patient's self-report / symptoms of pain promptly and takes appropriate action according to standard operating procedure.
Identifies the early warning signs of a change in a patient's condition and responds appropriately to a deteriorating patient.
Additional Details
RN Residency Cohort only : ND RN Graduate Work Authorization considered prior to start. The RN Graduate Work Authorization is valid for up to 90 days after issue or upon notification of the NCLEX results, whichever occurs first.
