What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architectural Designer - Residential Homes position at Alturas Homes?
Alturas Homes is looking for a detail-oriented architectural designer to develop residential floorplan concepts and structural drawings. This individual, within the Revit design team, will work closely with the team to develop functional floorplans, elevations, and structural documents. Collaboration within the team and with interior designers, production managers, and the sales team is critical to the success of this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
The primary job duties and responsibilities for this position are as follows :
- Design floorplans and elevations for a variety of residential projects
- Coordinate with the structural design team, sales team, production team, and company management to design appropriate plans for the best function and livability.
- Create structural plans and collaborate with engineering to finalize structural construction document sets.
- Support the plan design team in managing the floor plan database.
- Develop Revit families.
