Position Overview
As a Marketing Intern at Alturas Ventures, you’ll be a key player in how we present ourselves to the world and support the companies we invest in. Your contributions will help attract new opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and drive tangible growth across our ecosystem. This role offers extensive hands-on learning in design, content creation, social media, and digital marketing. We value talent but more importantly hard work and willingness to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Creativity
- Create compelling marketing collateral using InDesign and basic tools in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Contribute fresh ideas for branding and campaigns to help us stand out in the market.
Website & WordPress
- Help manage and update our WordPress sites, ensuring content is up-to-date and visually engaging.
- Perform basic user experience and SEO practices.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with our marketing team to brainstorm, refine, and execute both organic and paid advertising campaigns.
- Communicate clearly across departments and be open to feedback that pushes your skills to the next level.
Growth & Learning
- Dive into multiple areas of marketing, including analytics, social media strategy, campaign development, and more.
- Embrace a growth mindset, every project is a chance to learn and get better.
Content Creation and Support
- Assist in creating marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, email campaigns, and social media content.
- Write and proofread copy for campaigns, blogs, newsletters, and advertisements.
- Support website updates by ensuring accurate and engaging descriptions of homes and communities.
- Assist in video production in various formats.
Social Media
- Help manage the company’s social media accounts, including creating posts, scheduling content, and engaging with followers.
- Monitor social media platforms for comments and questions, responding promptly and professionally.
- Track and report social media metrics to the Marketing Director.
Digital Marketing and Lead Generation Support
- Assist in executing digital campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, email marketing) by handling administrative tasks.
- Manage the CRM system, entering and organizing lead data and tracking progress.
- Monitor digital platforms and escalate issues to the Marketing Director.
