THE SEARCH :
Altus Partners are partnering with a leading Global Private Equity backed Manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a Finance Director for one of their key Plants based near Columbia, South Carolina.
This position reports directly into the Plant Managing Director and you be their key the strategic business partner and sounding board, driving both the commercial and operational agenda of the plant.
The Plant is generating revenues of $100m, with ongoing highly ambitious growth and expansion plans.
You will be a visible leader on-site 3-4 days per week.
THE ROLE :
The Plant Finance Director will be a proven Finance Leader within the Manufacturing industry who has the ambition and gravitas to successfully lead and grow this key strategic plant.
Key responsibilities :
- Reporting directly into the Plant Managing Director, you will lead the full finance function (Accounting Payable, Accounting / Controls and FP&A), but demonstrate leadership and value across all areas of the business.
- Ongoing development and up-skilling of the finance team, whilst remaining ‘hands on’ within all areas.
- Developing internal accounting and financial reporting processes with full utilisation of the ERP (Oracle).
- S&OP
- Driving data led strategic decision making with the ongoing development of internal Power BI, Dashboards and Financial Analysis.
- Full ownership of internal budgeting, forecasting and FP&A processes.
- Inventory Costing and Analysis.
- Contract negotiation and adhering to key strategic contracts and service level agreements.
