Under the direct supervision of a general education teacher, the successful candidate will assist in the academic program in grades TK-5, and support operations of the resource center. The Certificated Teacher Resource (CTR) is a key part of each resource center’s instructional team. The CTR position is full-time with a schedule of 40 hours per week. CTRs are role models for our students, and are expected to look, act, and speak, as representatives of the school at all times. Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university
California 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction
Years of experience working directly with elementary aged students
Preferably have experience working with specialized student populations (English Learners, Homeless, Foster Youth, etc.)
Possession of a valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
TB Clearance
Obtain Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance through the DOJ and FBI
Salary : $21 - $25
