Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient care and treatment
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical charts
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Provide medical administrative support such as answering phones, filing documents, and handling insurance forms
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Familiarity with X-Ray procedures and equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform basic life support techniques
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and patient care
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other medical software
