What You Will Do
- Conducting repetitive inspections of medical devices with calibrated instruments.
- Inspecting packaged and labeled devices, conducting cycle counts of quarantined inventory, printing & scanning documents.
- Ability to operate calibrated equipment and instrumentation, such as RAM/Comparator, to inspect medical devices.
- Completing Device History Records
- Opens, investigates, and works with Engineering, QARA, and Operations to execute non-conformance dispositions.
- Follow internal procedures to perform initial risk assessment of non-conformances, including escalation to CAPA.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree and/or Associate degree
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of Medical Device, Pharma, or clinical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written inspection plans, SOPs, & Work Instructions.
- Experience supporting a QMS throughout audits/inspections desired.
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, RAM overlay, comparators, gages, and other quality inspection instrumentation.
- Proficient with MS Office. Microsoft Excel skills include filtering, sorting, & graphs.
- Familiar with basic ERP/MRP functions.
- Highly organized
