Description
The Altus team supports a high-impact program designed to deliver technical expertise in energetics development and manufacturing to enhance defense capabilities. Senior Engineers are instrumental in overseeing large-scale projects and providing strategic leadership in technical areas.
In this role as the Senior Engineer, youll immediately contribute to guiding large-scale projects, ensuring technical compliance, and mentoring engineering teams across the program.
This is a contingent role with a projected start date of June 2025.
Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee and guide engineering design functions for large-scale and high-impact energetic materials manufacturing projects.

Serve as the primary technical authority on protective blast analysis and engineering validations.

Lead efforts to modernize and sustain critical manufacturing facilities and equipment.

Provide high-level technical subject matter expertise in energetics design, development, and manufacturing.

Manage and review complex technical data packages (TDPs) to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Interact with senior project leadership to align engineering objectives with organizational goals.

Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to develop technical capabilities and ensure knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a relevant engineering field
