Job Summary:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Give cosmetic quality guidance to the operators using approved standard cosmetic gauges, training provided
- Participate in the production machine set-up procedural checklists, and perform random shift inspections
- Report quality concerns to supervisors and manufacturing leader, perform containment measures and inspect suspect products, training provided
- Collaborate with the quality team to identify root causes for customer and internal quality complaints
- Inspect at the quality dock audit
- Responsible for updating quality boards with customer complaints and approved boundary samples
- Participate in engineering trials to analyze feasibility of new products, and report scrap and other issues to Quality team
- Other duties assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate or G.E.D. and/or equivalent work experience desired
- Prior printing experience is preferred
- Must be able to work in cooperation with others
- Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments
- Must be able to take direction from supervisors
- Must be reliable to come to work and have a reliable form of transportation
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- This position requires individuals to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb, and be able to move/lift up to 20 pounds regularly. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderately loud.
