We are hiring a tool pre-setter to help maintain uninterrupted supply of tooling to the production department, as well as identify and find appropriate tooling requested by operators.
What You'll Do:
- Evaluates the condition of tools and sorts tools returned to the Tool Crib for recycling, re-sharpening or scrapping.
- Prepares and resets toolkits for measurement
- Measures and calibrates tools
- Completes documentation requirements
- Runs the Zoller automatic pre-setter measure machine and parlec pre-setter to measure and inspect tools
- Fills out tooling usage form to record parts used from the Supply Store
- Assists the Supply Store Attendant to order, receive and issue tools and supplies needed
- Labels and tags all parts adjusted with precise measurement results
- Cleans tools to verify that there are no burs or loose particles
- Follows 5-S and keeps the work area clean
- Sort- remove all items from an area that are not needed for current operations
- Set in order- arrange and label needed items so that they are easy to use, find and put away
- Shine- sweep or mop floors, wipe off machinery, make sure everything stays clean
- Standardize- method you use to maintain the items described above
- Other duties as needed

Requirements
What We Need from You:
- Ability to follow the Aludyne Safety Standard
- Ability to work overtime if required
- Ability to interpret simple blueprints
- Mechanical aptitude
