Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing Communications Specialist to craft compelling and engaging content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, strong writing and editing skills, and experience in content marketing, persuasive writing, and digital media. This role requires close collaboration with sales & marketing, engineering, and project teams to develop content aligned with the company’s brand voice and messaging strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit high-quality marketing copy and content across various channels, including websites, emails, social media, blogs, advertisements, and product descriptions.
- Develop copy and content that aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and messaging strategy to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Collaborate with engineers, sales, and project teams to create compelling content that supports campaigns and business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to craft persuasive and effective messaging.
- Optimize copy for SEO, social media engagement, and user experience to maximize performance.
- Use data and analytics to measure content effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Develop engaging headlines, taglines, and CTAs that drive action.
- Create, schedule and update marketing campaigns as needed.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging digital marketing tools.
- Perform other duties as needed and requested from management team.
Qualifications & Skills
- This is an onsite position located in Douglasville, GA, with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule after 90 days.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing, technical writing or advertising.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with outreach to government contractors and large equipment manufacturers.
- Strong storytelling ability and an understanding of persuasive marketing techniques.
- Experience with SEO, content strategy, and digital marketing best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in content management, CRM, marketing software, and collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B, B2C or B2G marketing.
- Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, web analytics, and UX writing.
