POSITION: Stacking
SHIFT: B Crew: Tuesday through Friday (Saturdays and Sundays as needed) 3:30pm-2:00am
- Perfect Attendance premium - $2 more per hour! included in wage
- Night shift premium of $1.00 (total possible pay $16 per hour)

What will you be doing as a Stacker?
Stacking sheets of aluminum material from blanking presses, visually checking for quality and stacking the material onto a prepared pallet.
- Stack material neat and straight as it comes off the press.
- Pull and cut cardboard, paper and banding material.
- Locate small defects on surface of material.
- Take measurements of material using tape measure.
- General housekeeping in work area.
- Alert Supervisor or line leader of issues or concerns.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Always operate in a safe manner.
Must be able to pass a drug screen
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work in a safe and orderly manner, following written job instructions.
- Keep good attendance - within the guidelines of the company policies for absences and tardy/leave early.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to read limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.
- Ability to function in a team-based environment.
- Must be able to read and write English language and use good verbal communication skills.
- Self motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to handle or feel. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands, arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to heat and cold and/or humid conditions, reflective of the weather outdoors. All jobs are performed indoors. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level is usually loud.
