What we need:
We are looking for a Heat Treat Operator who will rack forged parts to be processed and operates the heat-treating furnaces, aging ovens, and quenching equipment in order to harden parts.
Job Requirements:
Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
Position parts in heat treat racks and load into furnace once thermocouples are in appropriate temperature range, as per Quality Control specifications.
Maintain thermocouples, furnaces, aging oven, and quenching equipment as needed.
Maintain control over the part number, quantity, material and temper condition per heat treat certification.
Apply Heat Treat techniques to parts and ensure instructions are strictly adhered to.
Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per the job-specific travelers.
Complete data entry in various systems.
Skill Requirements:
Previous experience in a forging environment would be a plus.
1 years of experience as a Heat Treat Operator.
Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.
May be required to work at different locations (Susan St, Warner St. Alton Ave)
Compensation: $20.00 - $23.73 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly starting rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted starting range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
