Job Requirements:
Receive parts in tubs or etch baskets, ensuring parts are dry and etched properly.
Obtain experience under the direct observation of a Level 2 or Level 3.
Perform daily checks.
Immerse parts into penetrant and emulsifier.
Remove excess penetrant with water spray gun and dry parts in the oven.
Apply the dry developer using developer cabinet.
Deliver processed parts to penetrant inspectors.
Ensure all pressures and temperatures are set according to standard procedure.
Ensure parts are being processed accordingly to meet quality and production requirements, as specified in QT.P100, job travelers and customer specifications.
Maintain all dwell and drain time-limits to avoid having to re-process parts.
Participate in total quality management projects to achieve continuous improvement.
Participate in LEAN manufacturing and SPC activities as required.
Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by a supervisor.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Ensure adherence to APP’s policies and procedures, including our code of conduct and ethics policy, product safety, employee safety and cultural beliefs.
Ensure adherence to all process specifications.
Support the Plant quality system goals / improvements & productivity goals / improvements within the scope of the job.
Skill Requirements:
Must be trained on the penetrant procedure, as per QT.P100.
Training is provided for this job.
In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person (U.S. Person = a natural person who is a lawful permanent resident as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
