JOB SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support APP’s strategic goals. This role will involve partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, developing effective sourcing strategies, conducting interviews, and managing the entire recruitment process from initial candidate contact to onboarding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the entire recruiting process from requisition to onboarding for internal and external openings.
Collaborate with managers on creating advertisements, updating job descriptions and conducting testing and interviews.
Ensure that all necessary documentation and processes are completed for hire; including I-9 and E-Verify.
Lead and prepare reports for bi-weekly recruiting meeting with Executive team.
Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and provide strategic direction for employee development and retention opportunities.
Conduct in-person training for hiring managers regarding recruiting best practices and software use.
Work with HR Manager to forecast, develop, and implement a workforce plan.
Establish and carry out employee training and development programs.
Regularly analyze outcomes and focus on continuous improvement for recruiting and retention program.
Responsible for Affirmative Action Plan compliance through recordkeeping, analysis and training of leadership.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience
Either a Bachelor’s degree in an HR related field, a PHR certification, or a minimum of five years HR experience.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
High standard of ethics, integrity and protection of confidential data.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Independent worker with a clear sense of urgency and exceptional accuracy.
Experience with labor laws, EEO, AAP, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, ACA, etc.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Strong computer and HCM/HRMS knowledge.
Strong Microsoft Office skills – specifically advanced with Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
Excellent listener, communicator and collaborator.
Thorough knowledge of principles and practices pertaining to recruiting and its role within Human Resources.
Strong organization, time and project management skills necessary to prioritize and manage multiple, complex projects, potentially with conflicting priorities; ability to react quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Bilingual a plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in a Manufacturing industry a plus.

COMPENSATION: $69,000 - $80,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualification, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
In lieu of the above, any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the knowledge, abilities, and skills may be considered at the Company’s discretion.
