Reports To : Operations Manager
General Summary :
Source new sales opportunities nationally through research, cold calls, emails and follow-up activities. Solicit new accounts, build rapport and provide technical information (including capabilities of multiple plant locations) to potential or existing customers. This is a growth position within the company and could lead to a prominent role within the Sales Department.
Responsibilities :
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients and establishing a line of communication with potential customers
- Determining customer needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
- Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
- Creating / Maintaining a list / database of prospect clients
- Qualifying leads from Online searches, digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows etc.
- Understanding and communicating customer needs
- Internal communication of sales leads to Sales department and Management
- Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise
