Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of FDA regulations, CGMP, and food safety practices. Mechanical aptitude and experience in food processing are highly desirable for this role.
Responsibilities

General:
- Collaborates with team members to create enhanced solutions to obstacles that arise.
- Notifies the Team Lead of any issues to be addressed prior to moving the trailer for final delivery.
- Follows all safety procedures and utilizes all required PPE for task or workstation.
- Works to identify quality errors and implement solutions; Escalates to Team Leader as needed.
- Completes housekeeping and 5s work to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Participates in team meetings and training as required.
- Complete all assigned tasks within Takt time, according to production schedule.
- Prioritize tasks based on time constraints, urgency, and available resources.
- Cross-train within various stations and/or process groups to allow for support along the production line.
Production line tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Drills access points and assembles electrical wiring, within the trailer, ensuring accuracy to specifications and wiring regulations
- Assembles walls, flooring, roofing, and insulation, while also performing special cutting, to meet the specifications outlined.
- Prepares parts, doors, etc. and installs batteries, control panels, AC/Heating components, lighting, doors, cabinets, decals, and all other components and accessories for placement, ensuring accuracy to prints and aesthetic look.
- Installs plumbing, piping and fixtures in line with specifications, regulations, and defined materials.
- Installs cabinetry based on the blueprints, ensuring exact fit and aesthetics for a professional, finished look.
- Installs lighting, switches, and 110 outlets, with fuse panel and breaker box, validating the work meets specification, regulations, and functionality.
- Installs metal sheeting, trim, accessories, and doors, inside and out, ensuring an accurate fit and an aesthetic look.
- Conducts final finishes on trailer, including cleaning, caulking interior and exterior, and installation of decals.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalency preferred; will consider those with some high school and transferrable skills/experience.
- Experience: 1 years of automotive / trailer or other large equipment manufacturing experience is preferred. Will train the right person who is mechanically inclined. Sawing, welding, wiring, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or cabinetry skills preferred.
- Functional Skills: Basic mechanical skills or abilities; high attention to detail with an ability to read, understand, and apply procedures, specifications, and blueprints. Basic math and counting skills are required. Critical thinking to solve issues independently or getting assistance to ensure accuracy is important. Ability to self-inspect work and make corrections prior to moving the trailer to the next point. Will teach in other higher skilled areas, as needed.
