Service Technician
As a Service Technician, you will provide continual diagnoses, problem-solving, resolution and repairs with the products to ensure a high-level of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, in line with Company processes and business goals.
Expected Job Functions/Accountabilities in the Role:
· Performs line work and makes repairs, including panel change/over-lay, electrical wiring issues, a/c install, generator install/service, changing brakes, door replacement/install, metal work, welding, etc., in a high-quality and efficient manner.
· Performs final quality checks, diagnosing obstacles, and repairs all trailer and RV products to ensure a high-quality outcome. Notifies the Case Owner of other potential service items noticed to discuss with the customer.
· Troubleshoots complex issues in person or over the phone for customers and team members to ensure complete and accurate resolution.
· Ensures service work is documented appropriately on paper and within the system for accuracy.
· Partners with the line and other service technicians for mutual success of the team.
Position Requirements:
· Education: HS Diploma or equivalent; will consider a combination of work experience and education.
· Experience: 1 year of auto, trailer, mechanical, maintenance, or machine service and repair experience required; will train the right person. Plumbing, electrical, and welding experience would be a plus.
· Functional Skills: Strong mechanical ability who can easily trouble-shoot and repair parts, wiring, etc. in an efficient way; advanced attention to detail, complex problem-solving, time management skills, and ability to read prints and a tape measure.
· Certifications: Ability to operate a forklift or scissor lift; will certify on site.
· Technology Aptitude/Skills: Basic computer and data entry skills required.
· Language Skills: Solid verbal and written communication skills; will correspond with customer and team via verbal or through emails.
· Leadership/Behaviors: Self-motivated; able to work well independently and within a team; takes on a high level of accountability; positive behaviors and customer-focused attitude; strong safety and quality-minded; flexible and able to move from project to project well.

Pay/Salary: $28-$35/hour based on experience.
Reports To: Service Manager
Core Hours: 5:00am – 1:00 pm
Typical Work Week: M-F; typically, 40 hours a week
Direct Reports:
Travel: Limited; Up to 10%
Work Conditions: Production Floor/office environment, frequently required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, lifting up to 50 lbs. required
