Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company, is seeking a General Medicine Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation and Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. The ideal candidate will have a background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension.
Responsibilities
* Perform Compensation and Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments
* Conduct interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing
* Evaluate and diagnose respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
* Complete standardized forms and submit reports within 48 hours
Requirements
* Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Nevada
* Experience with Compensation and Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments preferred
* Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
* Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardiovascular systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
