Requirements Locums need for a PA Ortho Trauma Surgery for Grand Strand FULL TIME1 / 9 / 2025 update perm leaving in March 2025. We need FT candidates.South Carolina License - REQUIRED
- When on call they can stay in a hotel they do not have stay in house
- NEED ACLS OR ATLS at least one of these for this job.They now need Full Time PAs. Mon to Friday and rotation weekends with rotation call coverage 30 days a monthNEED A SOUTH CAROLINA LICENSE They offer IPCN if clean6 / 24 / 2024 They need to fill two vacancies. Two perm and one is leaving for medical leave though October and one new hire starting Sept 2024. Only down to one PA.
- How busy is weekend call? Depends it varies
- What are weekend call hours? They will either be 7a-7a / 7a-5p or 5p-7a we have been trying to split the shifts up
- Will there be evening call? Yes there is evening call depends on if or how we can split shifts
- How busy is evening call? Depends it variesCall nights 5pm to 7am and also for these dates day shift 6am to 2pm needed 10 to 12 hours shifts with approval24 call shift on the weekendWeekdays day shift 6am to 2 pm or if they approve a 12 hour shiftIf the weekday night shift is to long they can do 7pm to 7am weekends 5p to 7amCoverage. OR ICU hospital rounding overnight call post op visits. Level 1 Trauma Shift 6 / 6 : 30am to 3pm and rotation nightsAdd to the confirmation - Level one call overnight rotation neededThey can do IPCNShift M-F 8am to 5pm flexible with call Ortho trauma surgery call coverage and hospital coverage. Support - RN. 24 hour in-house coverage with after hour call coverageEclinical WorksDaily patient volume 20Will provide 24 hour ED support consults and post op care. No clinic workScrubs blackRounding and working in OR Report to hospital MSO first for hospital orientation and then to Amanda perm PA.
