About Alumni Ventures
Alumni Ventures (AV) has over 10,000 investors who have invested over $1.3 billion in our venture capital funds. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer that finds the venture capital industry fascinating and even one day might want to build their own startup. But before you do that startup, you will help to build a richer experience for our investors in our investor portal and build internal tools that make our investment teams more productive with finding and managing our portfolios.
This is a hybrid role 3 days a week in our new Andover office. We are a Mac / Linux shop.
What You Will Do :
- Write maintainable and well-documented code using JavaScript and Node.js
- Architect new applications using frontend frameworks and server frameworks
- Solve complex problems with effective, simple solutions
- Develop unit tests to ensure application quality
- Collaborate with designers, developers and project management to ensure the timely delivery of software features
