Dishwasher

As a Dish Washer your role requires the ability to operate the dishwashing machine and provide orderly maintenance of all nutrition service storage areas. You will also assist in other areas of the kitchen with maintenance of dish room and equipment in accordance with the standard procedure of the dining services department. Although your interaction with residents may be limited, we require excellent customer service from all our staff members at the community

Job Responsibilities

· Maintain stock areas in a neat and orderly fashion daily.

· Operate the dishwashing machine.

· Monitor and record the water temperatures and cleaning compound usage.

· Perform cleaning assignments as directed.

· Clean and washed food-service carts, dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, etc., and stores same.

· Uses proper sanitation in all food and service areas.

· Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, equipment, and appliances.

· Keep all kitchen work areas and dining rooms clear of dirty dishes.

· Sweep and mop floors and work areas.

· Ability to communicate effectively in English, oral and written, with residents, family members, and staff, required.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED certificate.

· Experience in elderly care, including individuals with dementia.

· Excellent organization and communication skills.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Flexible schedule.

Job Related Physical Requirements

· Able to move throughout community areas independently.

· Able to stand and walk the entire shift.

· Able to lift and carry up to forty pounds, bend, stoop, pull & twist.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
