DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support a dynamic team in various accounting and clerical functions. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience while assisting in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of financial records within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Under direct supervision, perform a variety of clerical accounting tasks, including the preparation, processing, and maintenance of financial records.
- Prepare, assemble, verify, file, and scan bills, vouchers, invoices, requisitions, and purchase orders.
- Collect and / or account for funds, and assist in preparing financial spreadsheets and statistical reports.
- Post balances, adjust accounts, and assist with analyses, schedules, reconciliations, and other cost-related data issues.
- Monitor, reconcile, and reimburse petty cash / check funds as needed.
- Code Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions to ensure proper application of expenses and revenues.
- Assist with inventory and reconciliation of credit card revenues and other related tasks.
- Interface with vendors via phone, email, or in person.
- Provide support to other accounting staff, with potential to review and assign tasks to others.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
