Position Overview :
We are looking for compassionate Public Health Nurses to provide essential public health services to individuals and the community. The successful candidate will support our client's Children's Home Visit Program, delivering clinical care, home visits, counseling, and public health education. Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver comprehensive public health nursing services, including clinical care, home visits, counseling, and public health education.
- Support the development, maintenance, and staffing of various health programs such as maternal-child health, immunization, child lead poisoning prevention, and mental health.
- Assist in developing and evaluating program policies, procedures, and effectiveness, and refer clients to other services as needed.
- Participate in epidemiological investigations to identify risks and implement disease prevention measures in the community.
- Collaborate with community groups, physicians, and public health administrators to promote health and wellness initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate special programs and projects, handling citizen and client requests, and facilitating collaboration with other departments.
- Perform essential administrative tasks, including preparing reports, correspondence, and meeting documentation.
