Substation Design Engineer
DESCRIPTION
The Substation Engineer will be responsible for leading and / or providing assistance with substation design activities, both individually and collaboratively. This position entails collaboration with a team of engineers and designers to ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with all pertinent regulations and standards. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, and possess expertise in high voltage substation projects.
- Engineer projects from inception to completion, including planning, design, permitting, construction support, and closeout.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for electrical substations.
- Electrical engineering : design, equipment sizing, component specifications
- Assisting with site plan development and civil requirements
- Responsible for drafting and assisting the drafting department
