Red Peak Technical Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opening for a Information Management Analyst in the Lorton, VA area. The Information Management Analyst supports the contract through management of the automated inventory system, assistance with shipping and receiving, drafting and training on standard operating procedures, providing technical guidance, and other administrative tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Red Peak Technical Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opening for a Information Management Analyst in the Lorton, VA area. The Information Management Analyst supports the contract through management of the automated inventory system, assistance with shipping and receiving, drafting and training on standard operating procedures, providing technical guidance, and other administrative tasks as required.
- Screen all SL requisitions for completeness and accuracy
- Enter requisitions into the automated inventory system
- Issue and direct shipments of available inventories to overseas posts and local offices
- Enter quantity shipped and shipping information
- Help with customer inquiries
- Prepare correspondence to other program offices and vendors as needed
- Review back-orders to ensure material is procured
- Review vendor due-in to ensure timeliness of deliveries
- Draft standard operating procedures for warehouse foreman’s approval
- Monitors specialized equipment by bar code
- Process post automated/manual annual reconciliation
- Process shipping and receiving notifications
- Provide training and maintain standard operating procedures and assist section chief with daily section administration
- Provide technical guidance to posts on asset management and use of automated asset management system
- Receive and monitor all reparable equipment
- Evaluate equipment for warranty repair and coordinate with vendor
- Review available status and work with responsible Program Office to expedite repairs
- Maintain application access
- Provide training and maintain standard operating procedures
- Assist with daily administration
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Three (3) years’ experience in computer information management utilizing a relational data baseP
- Experience in interpreting source documents for entry into a data base system
- Experience in researching back orders, tracking procurements, and researching shipping information utilizing a data base system
- Experience in catalog techniques using a computer data base terminal
- Experience in writing documentation on procedures, policy, or manuals
- Experience with word processing software
- Familiarity with various asset management systems
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and supporting daily operations
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, structured environment
- Knowledge in government supply-chain management and logistics functions
- General understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
