POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Red Peak Technical Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opportunity for a Technical Manual Librarian - Technical Directives (TD) in the San Diego, CA area.  The Technical Manual Librarian TD will provide technical manual library and repository related support functions and customer service functions for the U.S. Navy – Naval Air Station North Island.

• Contribute to the Technical Directives (TD) team to ensure continuous service delivery that is consistent and in compliance with the established performance per policy Government standards.
• Provides repository related support functions and customer service functions using existing databases using (1) or more commercially available software programs.
• Review documentation and validate compliance throughout the development cycle, the acquisition process, and the evaluation process of technical publications.
• Providing library and repository related support functions and customer service functions using existing databases. This includes, but is not limited to, digitize/convert TDs, researching and analyzing, maintaining databases used to provide and maintain monthly production reports, preparing communication to leads and customers, tracking and maintaining processing status with cycle times, processing and scanning aperture cards, processing requests for engineering drawings and technical manuals, performing repository and technical library functions, using reproduction equipment, and performing data entry type functions.
• Verify technical manuals are provided in conformance with the NATEC Web Posting Policy.
• Providing general administrative and office support functions.

Payrate: $24.73 Hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Security Clearance REQUIRED: Must already possess and be able to maintain, at minimum a SECRET security clearance.
• Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires at least two (2) years of general experience collection, compilation, and organization of technical data related to DoD weapon systems/equipment.
• Familiarity with aviation, government systems, database, procedures, etc. is a plus.
