Job Description
Part-Time and Per Diem positions are currently available.
Licensed Vocational Nurses and Licensed Psychiatric Technicians are responsible for medication administration, physician orders, lab results, safety on the units, transcription of orders, and documentation. Strong communication and thinking skills required. Must be able to multi-task and function well under stress.
- Assists in developing and following treatment plans for clients on his/her caseload; and exhibits awareness of changes in service needs and informs others as appropriate.
- Accurately completes and turns in clinical documentation and other required paperwork within required time frames.
- Attend all required staff, treatment planning, and in-service meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed
- Uphold the Organization's ethics and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Valid California LVN or LPT license required
- BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR Certification
- One year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred but not required
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR Certification
