Alvarez Homes, the premier custom home builder in Tampa Bay since 1983, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Project Manager with construction experience to join our team. Position Overview: This is a full-time office position focused on assisting with the project management of custom home construction. The role involves a blend of administrative tasks and direct interaction with various stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer multiple custom residential construction projects.
- Daily interactions with homeowners, interior designers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Produce purchase orders, price quotes, and contract changes.
- Coordinate pricing and ordering of all components for each home.
- Track changes and manage associated paperwork, ensuring all required parties are updated.
Preferred Experience:
- Residential construction
- Construction management software, specifically Buildertrend
- Ability to read blueprints
- Analyzing subcontractor and vendor quotes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and Outlook
