Overview
Alvarez & Marsal Global Marketing is seeking a Global Public Relations Senior Manager to manage : 1) press release development, editing, distribution and reporting; 2) media coverage dashboards across individual business units and for the firm as a whole; 3) media message houses and the updating of individual business units’ proof points; 4) processes for identifying and cataloging potential media angles and campaigns; and 5) building a matrix library of award and speaking opportunities across individual business units’ functional and industry segments.
This role will be responsible for :
- Advising A&M’s geographic, functional and industry segment leaders on PR best practices including, but not limited to press release development / distribution, media messaging and story angles, tracking and impact measurement.
- Conducting informational download calls with new A&M joiners and leaders as required for press release development purposes, along with advising on narratives to ensure maximum impact.
- Crafting press release drafts and managing all edits.
- Directing third-party PR contractors and agency press release assignments as required.
- Ensuring content alignment with A&M leaders’ bios and the firm’s web site.
- Managing the internal process for press release reviews, approvals and version control in accordance with A&M standards and brand compliance.
- Directing press release language translations and approvals, as required, with A&M’s translation service vendors and local PR agencies.
- Maintaining and updating media lists.
- Identifying media outlets in alignment with the firm’s stakeholder groups to expand A&M’s visibility and media coverage.
- Updating all media trackers and advising on tracker best practices as well as external third-party resources.
- Building a library of award submission and conference speaking opportunities aligned with SBU functions and industry segments.

Location : The successful candidate will be expected to be able to be based in A&M’s Atlanta or Tampa office on a hybrid schedule.

Qualified candidates will be required to submit relevant writing examples of their work before being considered for this role.

Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days available varies based on tenure and role type.
Salary : The salary range is $140,000 - $160,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.
