Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG)

TAG is a subsidiary of A&M, an established leader in providing global leadership and advisory services to a variety of diverse industries. TAG professionals specialize largely in providing financial and accounting buy-side and sell-side due diligence, global transaction analytics, environmental, social and governance advisory and other related M&A services for private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, and family office clients around the world.

A&M TAG is looking to hire a Director, Talent Acquisition who will play a key role in shaping the talent strategy and growing our practice. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic recruiting professional with a strong emphasis on driving inclusive diversity (one of A&M’s core values) through talent acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate will work with our Talent Management team to attract, assess, and hire top-tier talent from diverse backgrounds, while fostering an inclusive environment for all candidates. In addition, this role will play a critical part in shaping the onboarding process to ensure that all new hires feel included, supported, and prepared to succeed in their roles. This role requires a deep understanding of recruitment best practices, inclusive diversity principles, and an ability to build strong partnerships to ensure we meet our hiring needs and inclusive diversity objectives. This position will report to the Head of Talent Management and also partner with Global TAG’s Chief People Officer and TAG professionals across the country.

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Collaborate with TAG leaders to develop comprehensive recruiting strategy for experienced hires in alignment with our strategic growth objectives and our inclusive diversity strategy.
  • Partner with our Global TAG Inclusive Diversity leader to understand inclusive diversity objectives and integrate them into all elements of our recruiting process.
  • Assist with market research, job descriptions and talent insights that will help the team understand the recruiting market and specialty areas.
  • Develop targeted campaigns to attract passive candidates in niche skill area.
  • Develop and promote the company’s employer brand as an inclusive and diverse workplace.
  • Identify, develop and execute talent identification programs and activities across all levels to attract and grow a diverse pipeline of talent.
  • Build and expand a diverse pipeline of candidates by utilizing inclusive job boards and platforms and leveraging various sourcing techniques, including partnerships with diversity-focused organizations, diverse professional organizations, universities, and community groups.
  • Maintain pipelines of highly sought-after candidates. Thoughtfully nurture relationships and educate candidates on A&M and our Global TAG practice.
  • Participate in and oversee the recruitment process across the entire candidate lifecycle.
  • Coordinate the regular review and update of hiring materials across the practice; develop training materials and coach leadership and hiring managers.
  • Partner with TAG Talent Management, locally and globally, to deliver on strategic growth objectives and maintain the Global TAG brand.
  • Review and monitor reporting around Talent Acquisition and hiring metrics.
  • Partner with the Talent Management and Learning & Development teams to ensure successful onboarding experience for incoming hires.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of professional experience, of which at least 5 years of full life cycle recruiting, and at least 3 years with a deep focus on developing diverse pipelines of talent. Experience with a management consulting firm and/or financial services firm preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving diversity initiatives in recruitment, with measurable outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of talent acquisition strategies, inclusive hiring, best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to align talent strategies with business objectives.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate complex, fast-paced environments while remaining adaptable and resilient.
  • Confident in quickly adapting to a changing work environment and an ability to deal with ambiguous situations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills; ability to make data-driven decisions. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technologies.


Compensation Statement

The annual base salary range is $170,000 - 175,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
