Shift: Mon - Fri 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation

WHAT WILL YOU DO
This individual transcribes medical dictation to provide a permanent record of patient care, types miscellaneous reports, and files and retrieves slides and reports, in support of Pathology services in the laboratory.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must have accurate typing skills of at least 50 wpm.
At least one year related experience and/or transcription training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Basic knowledge of computer terminals and printer usage.
Previous experience with hospital information systems preferred.
