Job Description
As a Clinical Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting nursing faculty members with student supervision, ensuring students receive high-quality instruction and hands-on experience. Your primary duties will include:
- Supervising students' skills performance and evaluating their progress
- Consulting with nursing faculty members as needed
- Working with diverse groups of nursing students in clinical settings
You will also be expected to respond to Early Alerts submitted by faculty and staff, supporting students in establishing goals to promote success. Additionally, you may assist faculty and staff in identifying trends and researching best practices in student persistence and completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and at least one year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a clinical hospital setting. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
