The current client, based in Reston, needs ongoing support and companionship.

Core Responsibilities may include:
- Assistance with common ADL, meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Going for walks, helping client with getting on the exercise bike
- Light housekeeping duties, including laundry and light cleaning
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain timely accurate records and documentation
- Provide quality care and support to clients
- Communicate effectively with client, their family, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- PCA certification
- At least one year of experience working in home care with seniors
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- English proficiency with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current Driver's License and a reliable means of transportation
- Must be able to pass a criminal background
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Essential Functions
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
- Primarily in-home settings
- Varying shifts may include weekends and holidays
Required:
Two references
Proof of a TB screening within the last year showing clear results
