Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to elderly clients in their homes
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with daily living activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the designated supervisor
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best quality of care
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience, preferably in a home care or healthcare setting
- Must have a compassionate and patient attitude towards elderly clients
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
