- Assist seniors in all areas of daily living, including (but not limited); to assistance with bathing, mobility, medication reminders, meal prep, and organization.
- Perform light housekeeping, including (but not limited to); laundry, changing linens/making the bed, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Provide companionship.
- Lift or carry the occasional load up to 30 lbs, climbing, bending or kneeling, walking or standing, and repetitive motion.
- Experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate!
- Must have valid driver's license
- Capable of working independently and to carry out tasks with minimum supervision
- Clean record to include no felonies of any nature and a clear status to the elderly abuse and sexual predator registry
- Able to successfully pass a drug test
- Ability to read, write, and conduct effective written and verbal communication with patient, staff, and fellow caregivers
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a certificate to work in the United States
- Ability to stay awake and alert at all times
- Spirit of service with the elder members of our community
