Part Time Caregiver

We are currently hiring for Part Time Caregivers to assist our Senior/Elder clients in their homes. Patience and kindness would go well with a strong work ethic. Great postions available for those that are retired or semi retired and still want to get out in the community. This position would offer between 10-25 hours weekly. Responsibilities

Assist seniors with all areas of daily living, including (but not limited to):

• General Safety and Comfort
• Assist with Bathing
• Assist with Mobility
• Medication reminders
• Meal Prep
  
  

Perform Light Housekeeping, Including (but Not Limited To)

• Organization
• Laundry
• Changing Linens/Making Beds
• Dishwashing
  
  

Provide companionship

• Exercise
• Stimulating Conversation
• Supporting Social activities
• Running Errands
• Transportation to Doctor Appointments
  
  

Requirements

Physical requirements

• Must have VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
• Lifting/carrying occasional up to 30 lbs., climbing, bending/kneeling, sitting, walking/standing, and repetitive motion.
• Experience preferred, but will train the right candidate.
• Capable of working independently and to carry out tasks with minimum supervision
• Clean arrest record to include no felonies of any nature
• Able to successfully pass a drug test
• Must have a clear status to the elderly abuse and sexual predator registry
• Ability to read and write effectively and communicate with other caregivers
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a certificate to work in the United States
• Must have successful work record
• Must be able to effectively communicate with the patient and staff
• Ability to stay awake and alert at all times
• Spirit of service with the elder members of our community
