Always Best Care Senior Services in Oahu is currently hiring compassionate and dedicated NAs / CNAs to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. As an individual contributor, you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients and their families. In this role, your responsibilities will include :
- Delivering compassionate personal care and assisting with hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Providing support and assistance to clients with mobility and transferring as needed.
- Administering medication in accordance with care plans.
- Monitoring and promptly reporting any changes in clients' physical, mental, and emotional condition.
- Maintaining a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Supporting clients in engaging with social and recreational activities.
- Effectively communicating and coordinating care plans with clients' families and healthcare professionals.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of care provided. To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements :
- Active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA).
- A minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a similar caregiving role.
- Familiarity with principles of elderly care and adherence to health / hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient nature.
- Physical ability to lift and transfer clients as necessary.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
