Description of the Role The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, both physical and emotional, to help them maintain their overall well-being. This includes providing personal care, monitoring residents' health, engaging them in recreational activities, and ensuring their living space is clean and organized. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting
- Monitor residents' physical and mental health, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse
- Provide emotional support to residents and engage them in recreational activities
- Observe and record residents' vital signs, reporting any abnormalities to the nurse
- Keep residents' rooms clean and organized, assisting with laundry as needed
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of residents
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans for each resident Requirements
- Valid CNA certification from an accredited program
- Minimum of 1-year experience working as a CNA in a healthcare or senior care facility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening Compensation This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $20 to $22 per hour, paid weekly.
