Always Best Care Senior Services - Atlanta / Buckhead is looking for a well experienced caregiver to work 9 hours on Saturdays in Ellenwood, Georgia.
As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to our senior clients.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the nurse or supervisor
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure clients take their medications on time
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up client's living area
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably in a senior care setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including lifting and assisting with transfers
