Job Summary:
Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is seeking dynamic and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. We are currently hiring for a full-time position with a flexible schedule offering a competitive salary of $20 per hour. As a CNA, you will provide essential care and assistance to our elderly clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
- Monitor clients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document all care and observations accurately and timely
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients' needs are met
- Adhere to all healthcare and safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and care team members
Requirements:
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Hawaii
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CNA in a healthcare or senior care setting
- Knowledge of basic nursing skills and techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, family members, and care team members
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
