Description of the Role:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Aide to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu. As a Nurse Aide, you will provide essential assistance and support to our clients in Pearl City, Honolulu, Hawaii, working 32-40 hours per week. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication management.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Assist with mobility and transferring clients.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Engage in conversation and provide companionship to clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Nurse Aide or in a similar role.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Two references from previous employers.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform the duties of the role.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Proof of a clear TB test taken within the last year.
- CNA, HHA, and BLS/CPR training are a plus.
