We are looking for high energy and caring individuals to serve as Caregivers.  We are a fast-paced and team-oriented group of people that is also very close-knit.  We have a positive office culture with tons of opportunities to socialize as a team at work and outside of work.  We seek to hire employees who are inherently courteous and polite and treat all clients with the highest level of respect and professionalism.
We consider our Caregivers as the keystone of our business, providing much needed services to seniors and their families struggling to keep their independence daily.  The qualities we look for in a caregiver are compassion, dependability, professionalism, honesty, flexibility, problem solving, a positive attitude and love. Compensation

• $18.50 - $19.25 per hour starting pay depending on experience and skill set! 
• Plenty of opportunity for over-time, which can provide up to $28.87 an hour!

• Daily Pay/ Immediate Pay Option
• All applicants required to take Skills Test which contribute to determining starting pay rate 

Work Hours

• Currently seeking candidates with flexible weekday and weekend availability (High Priority)
• Full-time and Part-Time shifts available. If you have 16 free hours per week we will find a shift that works for you.
• Flexible schedules - Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week

Work Location

• Napa and surrounding cities such as Sonoma, Yountville, American Canyon, etc.
• The home office for Always Best Care is in Vacaville, CA.  You will only need to go to the home office for the following:
  • In person interview (and if hired);
    • 90 Day Reviews
    • Annual in person reviews
    • All other work is done in Napa or surrounding area.

• From basic companion care to more integral personal care, our Caregivers provide a wide range of services.
• Always demonstrates excellent compassionate and empathetic skills towards all clients.
• Basic companion care which may include some of the following:
• Light housekeeping
• Sitter care
• Transportation
• Meal preparation
• Integral person care which may include some of the following:
• Incontinence care (toileting assistance)
• Transferring
• Dressing and bathing
• Communicates effectively and proactively.
• Demonstrates effective organizational skills.
• Accepts direction and guidance.
• Demonstrates competitive spirit.
• Professional dress and demeanor.
• Inherently courteous and polite.
• Able to treat clients with the highest level of respect and professionalism.
• Willing to take on additional responsibilities and assignments willingly.
• Takes pride in Always Best Care and the services and programs ABC represents.
• Shows respect to Always Best Care employees and customers.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with seniors in a home setting (Preferred).
• Valid driver's license and own transportation.
• Proof of current auto insurance and registration.
• English proficiency and excellent communication skills.
• Two references required.
• Proof of a TB test taken within the last 3 months (90 days) showing clear results.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• CNA, HHA, and BLS/CPR training (Preferred) as assigned by management.
• No COVID vaccination required.
