Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting
- Administer medications as directed by the healthcare team
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional health to the nursing staff
- Assist with basic housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and keeping residents' rooms tidy
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and sanitary environment for residents
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families, offering emotional support and companionship
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current NA/CNA certification
- Previous experience in a healthcare or senior care setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work day, evening, and weekend shifts as needed
